New braided rugs just arrived

Above is a picture of the new braided rugs which just arrived in the store last week. These rugs come in two sizes: 20"x30", and 27"x45" and are available in both oval and rectangle. They are made by Green World Rugs, which is a sister company of Homespice Decor, which makes our cotton braided rugs. They sell for about 1/3 the cost of the cotton braided rugs because they are made of jute, yet they are of the same high quality. They are available in most of the more popular color tones. Stop in and check them out! The company will be adding some larger sizes next spring.

New ideas for Christmas decorating

Above are some pictures of a couple areas of the store which show some of the new Christmas greens which we are selling this year. These greens have an icy look with either red or silver beads and bells. They come in garlands, wreaths, and picks. We also have red berry picks and pinecones you can purchase to complete the look.

These pictures above show some of the new glass hurricanes which just arrived. Some have writing on them and others have two sections which allow you to display items in the lower section which can be changed out for different seasons.

New treenware items

Above are a couple pictures of the new treenware items which we received last week. There are many new ones this year in all different shapes and sizes. Also, in the lower picture you can see the new picture frames with sayings on them which arrived a few weeks ago. There are about a dozen different sayings which come in three colors-black, cream, and brown.

New soy candles available

We have just received our new soy candles from the Beanpod Candle Company. These candles are the #1 selling soy candle in America. They come in 3 different sizes of jar candles and sell for the same price as our popular "Keepers of the Light" jar candles.
These soy candles are made from 100% natural soy wax and will burn much cleaner than regular candles. They also will burn 30% longer than regular candles. We now have 15 different frangrances available for you to pick from. We also have soy beads which you can melt in a melter or use in our glass pillar candle holders as a base. New braided rugs available

This picture shows the holder which we just received from our braided rug supplier. We now have twenty braided rugs on display in our lower level on this holder. These rugs are 4'x6' and come in two styles. Half of the rugs are the popular cotton braided variety, and the other half are the new outdurable braided rugs. The outdurable rugs can be used either outdoors or indoors and will not show stains no matter what you spill on them! We are continuing to offer these rugs on sale at 30% off the original price. Come in and check out the new display in our lower level.

This picture shows the new Sorrento chip & dip set which has been very popular. You can choose any of the 6 colors available for the two sizes of bowls which fit in the holder.

New products received week of May 5th

These three pictures above show the new glass candle holders which just arrived this week. They are larger than some of our other candle holders and come with some unique stands.

The two pictures above show the new colors of glazed pottery which we received this week. The new colors are green/blue and brown/purple. This pottery is similar to our other glazed pottery but comes in some new shapes and sizes.

We thought we'd share some pictures with you that we took today, April 26, 2008 at our home as we tried to make it into the store! They tell us that we received 12" of snow yesterday and today.

Greetings from Creative Touch Gallery in Downtown Alexandria. The weekly special this week is 25% off original price on all frog jars. This special is good from Monday, April 14th thru Sunday, April 20th. We are including a couple pictures of the frog jars so that you know what they are. They are the small glass jars that can be used to hold either fresh or silk florals.

Check out these pictures which show some of the new products which just arrived this week. Our Sorrento dishes now have teapots and smaller mugs for you to purchase. There are also two new colors: suede and paprika to go with the five previous colors (green, gold, ivory, red, and burgundy).

I also added a couple pictures of our new vinyl wall words. You can either buy the words which we have in stock or you can order words and sayings in many different colors and sizes. Orders should arrive in 2 weeks or less.
These words are very easy to apply to your walls and can be easily removed when you decide to change them.
